I’ve been watching S3 of The Great (finally) and its starting to bug me that Catherine can never succeed. I just watched the Nakaz scene and it seems like all the show does is say that idealism and progress are always bad and silly and naive and stupid. I guess I’m just getting tired of this idea that the only way that you can be successful is to turn on your own principles. Like yes, I am only on episode 3, but its still making it hard to get through this season
